The BIG Italian Event

Over the weekend, I styled the windows of Loehmann's in San Francisco to usher in its huge Italian event that goes public today!    Beautiful designer clothes and shoes by Moschino, D&G, Patrizia Pepe, Fuzzi, Alberta Ferretti and Bruno Magli (to name a few) are being offered at amazing prices.  Catch a glimpse of the looks I put together and be sure to check out the event.  Fall is just around the corner...

Before And After: A Connecticut Farmhouse Part 1

While visiting interior stylist Vera Abud last month, I had the opportunity to see a project she's currently working on:  an 1800s farm house.  Her approach modernizes the space retaining the  historic foundation of the home and honoring her clients' aesthetic.    Take a look at the master bedroom makeover and stay posted for more updates on this home.

A Favorite Find: Miho

 Recently I picked up a little something for Zoe's room from Miho, an Italian company that makes unique 3 dimensional wall mounted accessories.  All their designs are packaged flat and assembled by clicking together MDF pieces that feature colorful textiles.  The colors and patterns are so pretty, and one can buy birdhouses, deer trophies, and horse heads.    Take a look at how sweet and unexpected Zoe's nested bird turned out to be:

'Til Monday: Maine Memories

Before leaving Maine 2 weeks ago, we took a rainy walk on the beach that led us into the woods along a coastal trail.  It's a path we've taken before but on a dry and sunny day.  The wet morning offered a different perspective on a familiar landscape:  raindrop marks in the sand, silhouettes of tall pines in the fog, the vibrant color of the forest canopy against a gray sky.  It's a walk I would take again, at the drop of a 'rain' hat.  Thanks JG for a lovely Maine experience.
