Good Neighbors
I came home after being away for two weeks to these perfectly displayed mini Black- Eyed Susans and a refrigerator filled with essentials. All left by our good neighbors. Gestures like these make returning from vacations a lot easier. With that said, being back, settling the kids and dealing with the ongoing renovation, I haven't had much time to blog. And I really want to. So please keep posted…. there will be more.
Fiber-optic grass, a low maintenance container plant
With Friday upon us i thought i would feature a stylish grass for the weekend gardener. This plant is great in containers or borders. It's long slender stems have slivery blooms on the ends that fall nicely over a pot . Easy to maintain Fiber-optic grass can be planted in sun or part shade. Just make sure you keep the soil moist. Happy planting!!!
Small wedding, Big style
Arranging botanicals in a monochromatic manner either in color and/or variety is an easy way to make a big statement. Remember that the vase is as important as the materials you put in them. For this February wedding Cocoon Home Design used metallic vases to off set the heavy wood tables and graphic upholstered chairs.
