Let The Games Begin
During a recent visit to The Conran Shop I fell in love with this foosball table. The high gloss white frame and stainless steel player poles make it perfect for just about any interior. The players are hand painted in Spain and can be custom ordered to represent your favorite teams. In my house the competition would be fierce between Brazil and Italy.
This stylish foosball table incited me to search for other high design game tables. Take a look a few others and see my all time nostalgic favorite. Above images: Cocoon Home Design

I grew up with a pinball machine in our basement and spent hours playing with it. It was great entertainment for kids and adults alike. Recently, I asked my dad is he remembered the year and make of it in hopes of finding the same one for my children. Let's face it, and for me too, I love a good pinball game! There's something so satisfying about flipping those side buttons, seeing the lights and hearing the bells mimic one's excitement.

Valentine Wish List
This multi-faceted pendant necklace from Boston jewelry designer Anne Keene would look great paired with two other necklaces I own.
The traditionalist in me is pining for a sampling of my favorite chocolate. Anything Mast Brothers.

Special Delivery: Ring A Date
About a year ago a came across a ring-a-date calendar that was designed in the late 60's by Giorgio Della Beffa. Loved it, didn't buy and regretted it ever since. It seems there are very few in existence.
Explaining the days of the week to your children can be frustrating for them and for you. I thought this calendar could be helpful. Fortunately, my husband found an Italian company that manufactures a reproduction. He quickly emailed his friend in Italy (always good to have European friends) and voila! my special delivery arrived. A happy ending to a desperate search for the calendar my kids can interact with and help them understand the days of the week. I'm pleased to say they wake up excited to ring in the day! Grazie mille, Arduino!!!
All Keyed Up
Came across this wallpaper recently and can't seem to get it off my mind, so I began looking for other "key" motif home accessories. Take a look at what I found. My favorite is still the above gold sketeleton wallpaper from Room Service. Keep posted since it'll probably become my next room inspiration. Any ideas of where I should use it?

The image of a skeleton key is beautifully mysterious and conjures up a setting of vintage glamour and intrigue. What do you think of the key motif? Like it, love it, hate it , done it?!
