'Til Monday On Monday: The Year Of The Dragon

Tonight at midnight, the Chinese New Year begins.   It's the year of the dragon and Bergdorf Goodman's windows are ringing it in a highly fashioned way.

According to Chinese astrology, people born on the year of the dragon are said to be strong, self-assured, eccentric, intellectual, and passionate.

'Til Monday: Do Right

The season for reflecting, giving and being thankful continues with the celebration of Martin Luther King's birthday this Monday.  Let us all remember that "the time is always right to do what is right".

Last year, the kids and I attended Many Helping Hands, Cambridge's first annual MLK day of service. We helped make Valentine's Day cards for the elderly and sorted donated food and clothing. It  was a memorable experience for all of us and we're looking forward to doing it again this coming Monday.

'Til Next Year...

The time has come for a new year and with it comes an opportunity to reflect on the past and plan for the future. Last year, I had 3 distinct resolutions, some came to life, others...not so much.  Regardless, I had a wonderful year in all respects:  family, friends, health and work.  I can only hope to be as blessed in the coming year as I was during the last.

Before I run off and begin celebrating, I'd like to leave you with a few things that have intrigued me, kept me wondering and ever dreaming...
