Summer Entertaining With Michael Aram And A Reader Giveaway!

When the folks at Madhouse found out that Cocoon was hosting a Botanical Trunk show, they sent a sampling of Michael Aram's new collection of dinnerware for the event.  With metallic and pearlescent finishes, unique textures and nature inspired shapes and designs, the series proved to be a perfect fit for our plant abundant evening.  Not only did they send enough product samples for the festivities, but also included plenty for giveaways both for our trunk show and for the blog.    Take a look at how we utilized the Olive Branch collection to entertain our guests and see below how to win your own Michael Aram Madhouse collection for your next party.

Reader Giveaway: MOS Magnetic Cable Organizer

I'm not usually into gadgets, but that changed when I came across this magnetic cable organizer.  Its shape and color make it blend into our night table where our phones are usually charged.  The magnetic surface holds the cable tips in place, so they no longer fall behind the table and we no longer have to search for them behind the furniture.  Take a look at this clever and elegant invention and find out how you can win one below:

Enter to win a MOS , Magnetic Organizer System,  by leaving a comment below stating where you would use it and what color you prefer, black or white.  To find out more the MOS click here.

Contest Ends Thursday, the 28th, at 12pm.

Many thanks to the folks at MOS for contributing to our latest Cocoon Home's Reader Giveaway.

A Success Story: Two Trick Pony Stationery and Reader Giveaway.

I'm so excited about this reader giveaway and the opportunity to chat up Two Trick Pony, a Boston based stationery company created, owned and operated by Carrie Siegel and Laurie Johnston.   Carrie and I met 12 years ago when we both worked  at Louis Boston (I, as a sales manager-she, as a visual merchandiser).  I've always admired her sense of style, creative energy and joy for life.  Two Trick Pony is a product of all those attributes.  While working for a large paper retailer, colleagues Carrie and Laurie decided to go for it and start their own company.   Today, their cards can be found in stores throughout the country.   I love Two Trick Pony's retro feel and commitment to green design.  To read more about how they stay eco-friendly click here.  Take a look at some of their unique card designs and see details on entering our reader giveaway.

Enter to win 12 single cards of your choice and a box set by commenting on your favorite designs below.  Check out the entire Two Trick Pony stationery line here and friend them on Facebook.  Contest ends Wednesday at 12pm.  Good Luck!
